About Stop Mediocrity
Mediocre & Mediocrity stink, stank, stunk.
Not only that, but pick a lane, for heaven’s sake. If you’re choosing to do, be or make something that’s bad, then be epic about it. Heck, go for broke … and make it truly horrible, pathetic or lousy (just saying).
On the other hand, if you want to make it good, then make it good; after all, good is always good. Moreover, if you want it to be great (usually the best, most preferable choice), then be great. But just don’t be mediocre or allow mediocrity: that’s wrong.
Say no to mediocrity. Now and forever.
We shouldn’t allow, condone, permit, promote, embrace or accept mediocre, mediocrity or any of their other lowly crony words like: ordinary, meager, basic, lazy, average, uninspired, undistinguished, fine, indifferent, dismal, somewhat, kinda, cheap, unremarkable, weak, mundane, plain, run-of-the-mill, lackluster, forgettable, apathetic, bland, indifferent and blah (because those words are also stupid, rubbish and yucky).
If you agree (you do, right?), then take the Stop Mediocrity Pledge today – and commit to forbid, remove and banish mediocrity from business, work and life.
Moreover – let’s collectively pledge to create, embrace, expect, promote and demand that the people (starting with our individual selves), relationships, teams, products and services that we make and choose, are never mediocre. Better yet, let’s strive for qualities like: solid, joyous, happy, good, great, masterful, awesome, wonderful, beautiful, fun, fantastic, super-duper, exceptional, best, hi-quality, terrific, loved/loving (you get the drift, right?).
So, if we’re going to be, do, make, support, service or buy something of value, let’s make sure that it’s not mediocre. Cool?
